Dignity Lifestyle is brought to you by Dignity Foundation, India's premier organisation committed to enriching the lives of senior citizens, and enabling them to live independently.

Dignity Foundation offers senior citizens opportunities to lead an active life, both mentally and physically. It provides social support to people whose families have failed to provide them with primary care.

It runs active programmes that motivate and inspire senior citizens, and help them achieve fulfillment in life, despite their age. To make them feel worthwhile again, making an active contribution to society. Above all, instilling in them a sense of pride and self-esteem, so they can live their life with dignity.

The founder and president of Dignity Lifestyle is Dr. Sheilu Sreenivasan. With an M.A and Ph. D. in Social Work and Sociology respectively, Sreenivasan was Corporate Manager in Macmillan, India and Head of Publishing Division, at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. She left this position to start the magazine Dignity Dialogue and later set up the Foundation.

The Foundation has 17 full-time professionals and staff, apart from a dozen regular volunteers. Headquartered in Mumbai, India, it has Chapters in Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi and Jamshedpur presided over by a group of committed volunteer retirees.
Dignity Lifestyle Trust has been set up by the Trustees of Dignity Foundation. The President and Trustees of Dignity Foundation are also the President and Trustees of Dignity Lifestyle. For services rendered by Dignity Foundation go to Dignity Foundation.

Dignity Foundation is registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. It is also registered as a public trust with the Charity Commissioner, Mumbai.
